About Vinhomes Green City

Vinhomes Green City is a 197.2 ha integrated township developed by Green City Development JSC (Cong ty CP Phat trien Thanh pho Xanh), a Vingroup member building under the Vinhomes brand, in Hau Nghia commune, Tay Ninh province - before the administrative merger, Hau Nghia town together with Duc Lap Thuong and Tan My communes in Duc Hoa district, Long An province.

The project officially broke ground on 26 March 2025 with total investment of more than VND 28,000 billion, around USD 1 billion, and a projected population of about 40,000.

According to VnExpress, the approved master plan covers 517 villas, 4,510 shophouses and terraced townhouses, 491 resettlement lots and 5 apartment blocks of 25 storeys; the whole township is divided into five subdivisions - The Liberty (high-rise), The Swan Lake, The Island, The Forest and The Sunrise.

This is Vingroup's first integrated township in the former Long An area, sitting on the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 economic corridor and connected back to HCMC via National Highway 22 (the Trans-Asia road) and the DT-10-CT02 route.

The primary basket currently centres on low-rise homes. According to the announcement on Vinhomes' marketplace, the commercial product mix is 91.3% townhouses and shophouses (4,176 units) and 8.7% villas (396 units).

Land areas run from about 60 to 250 m2 and built-up areas from about 173 to 400 m2; terraced units are commonly 75-110 m2 of land over 4 storeys, while villa storey counts and bedroom counts vary by house type.

On price, Vinhomes' official page has updated the entry point to about VND 5 billion per unit (all-in, VAT included); terraced units commonly run VND 5.5-10 billion per unit, equivalent to roughly VND 65-85 million per m2 of land.

At the first launch in June 2025, CafeF recorded announced prices from about VND 4.79 billion per unit - among the lowest entry points for a Vinhomes-branded township in recent years.

The notable policy point is a payment schedule that can be stretched over up to 1,008 days (about 3 years) on the extended-construction product line: the buyer pays the land use right value and the commercial value first, with construction costs deferred.

On amenities, the master plan includes a Vincom Mega Mall, 12 ecological parks, around 35.8 ha of water surface with a network of landscape lakes, 4 resort-style swimming pools and nearly 100 sports courts, alongside Vinschool and Vinmec.

Prices and available stock shift with each launch phase, so the figures above are indicative as at the time of announcement.

About the developer. The direct developer is Green City Development JSC, a member of Vingroup; the product is developed and operated to the standards of the Vinhomes brand, Vingroup's residential real estate arm and the name behind mega-townships such as Vinhomes Grand Park (Thu Duc), Vinhomes Green Paradise in Can Gio and Vinhomes Ocean Park in the north.

Vinhomes' strengths are its ability to deliver integrated infrastructure, fast construction, and the in-house Vincom - Vinschool - Vinmec - VinFast service ecosystem, which helps a township form a real resident community and generate commercial cash flow earlier than standalone projects.

Who is it for? The project suits three groups of buyers. First, families already living and working in Duc Hoa and the northwestern belt of HCMC who want to move into a managed township with full amenities.

Second, cash-flow investors targeting wide-frontage units that combine living with retail or leasing, tapping the specialists and workers of nearby industrial parks such as Duc Hoa III, Tan Duc, Xuyen A and Hai Son.

Third, medium-term investors betting on the progress of Ring Roads 3 and 4 and the wave of industry shifting toward the northwestern corridor.

Conversely, buyers who need immediate handover or who prioritise a central HCMC address should weigh this carefully, as the township is only expected to become operational from February 2028 and handover of each subdivision depends on the sale and purchase agreement.
